MY STORY

My name is Leah Diercks. My story is not unlike many who have joined the helping professions. I have always felt great joy and purpose in helping others. I take pride in providing safety above all else in my office to "come as you are" and tell your story.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Rocky Mountain College in Billings , MT.  Right after graduating from Rocky I applied and was accepted in to the Masters of Social Work Program at Walla Walla University - Billings. I graduated with my MSW in 2016. I received professional licensure as an LCSW in 2018 and began an adventure in private practice shortly after in 2019. Prior to Private Practice I worked in hospital social work ,  as a therapist in the schools and in community based case management.

My therapy style is eclectic, in that I aspire to adapt and utilize different modalities and theories to best facilitate growth in my clients. My practice is Trauma-Informed and Client Centered. I have completed training from Postpartum Support International ( PSI ) and have a PMH-C . I have also completed  comprehensive  trainings in psychological trauma which enrich and strengthen my practice. My interest in exploring the human mind and its many facets is what keeps my knowledge fresh and ever-growing.
